With her musical instruction beginning at age five, Julie could hardly have known
how her love of music would shape her life. At age fourteen, the commute to her
lessons (300 miles one way) became an undertaking only dedicated parents would consider. Undergraduate studies started with a vocal scholarship and ended with
degrees in music education and harp performance from the University of Minnesota.
Julie continued her classical training at the New England Conservatory in Boston
receiving a Master of Music.
Now residing in North Carolina, Julie maintains a busy concert schedule and a private studio. |
