DESCRIPTION:The Adventures in Theatre Summer Camp Experience is designed to\ninvolve young actors in all aspects of theatre production. Working\nwith local professional directors\, music directors\, choreographers\,\ncostumers\, and scenic artists the campers will learn basic theatre\nskills\, how to audition\, stage movement\, and character\ndevelopment. After two weeks of theatre games\, workshops\, a few\ndance classes\, and some serious rehearsing\, campers will be ready\nto show their hard work with a complete production including sets\,\ncostumes\, lights\, and props. So\, it’s time for an old\nfashion western melodrama. This fast-paced\,\naction-packed\, zany comedy filled with a\nplethora of hilarious characters has fun roles\nfor all campers. The good guys are really good\nand the bad guys are really bad. The audience\nwill cheer the heroes and heroines and boo the\nvillains in a rip-snortin’ rootin’-tootin’ spoof of\nthe old west. Throw in some old-time western\ntunes and something that may or may not look\nlike a square dance.
